Messi misses spot-kick as Argentina lose to Colombia
Argentina beat Ecuador 4-2 on penalties to move into the semifinals of the Copa America on Thursday after goalkeeper Franco Armani saved Enner Valencia's spot-kick.
The match had finished 3-3 after 90 minutes, with Sergio Aguero, Lionel Messi and Lautaro Martinez scoring for Argentina and Angel Mena, Enner Valencia and Robert Arboleda replying for Ecuador.
In the shootout, Armani saved Valencia's penalty, while Argentina converted all four of their spot-kicks through Messi, Aguero, Paredes and Lautaro Martinez.
